Acupuncture and traditional chinese medicine dr louis cali, acupuncture and traditional chinese medicine my practice began in new york where I trained at pacific college of oriental medicine in manhattan, after completing a bachelor of science in biology and a doctorate degree in law. I migrated to australia with my family in 2003 and established a complementary medicine clinic, holistic health of berwick, where I currently practice. Due to my clinical and legal experience, I have served in various capacities for the chinese medicine registration board of victoria. My patients are drawn from across the south-eastern suburbs of melbourne, bayside, mornington peninsula, as well as from the dandenong ranges, phillip island and gippsland. I act as a mentor to other practitioners, train students of chinese medicine and preside as a sessional member of vcat under the health registrations act. I am board-registered, fully-insured and a member of the australian acupuncture and chinese medicine association (aacma).
