Established in 2011, Berwick Springs Veterinary Hospital is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association and combines the latest advances in veterinary medicine with good worn fashioned service and care. Our aim is to aid you understand your pet’s health and to inform you about the various options available to improve your pet’s quality of life. In this way we hope to help you in making personal decisions which are correct for both of you. Neil graduated in 1998 from the University of Melbourne and since then has worked exclusively as a small animal practitioner. Behind starting out in an established insignificant animal hospital in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne, the travel bug soon hit and he traveled and worked throughout the United Kingdom earlier returning to practice in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. He also has a notable interest in ophthalmology (eyes). Neil has spent time with some of Melbourne's leading specialists to ensure he is up to date with the latest advances in veterinary medicine. In his spare time Neil and his wife Deborah are kept busy looking after their three boys Lucas, Flynn and Patrick. He has spent many years working at one of Melbourne’s leading veterinary hospitals where he developed keen interests in surgery, ultrasonography and oncology (cancer care) which he continued during a 2 year stint active in England. In 2007 he was admitted as a member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in recognition of his advanced training and proven expertise in canine and feline surgery and he also achieved accreditation as a PennHIP radiologist. He and his wife Linda have two young boys, a baby girl and a Maltese shah tau cross called Ellie. He is joining the resurgence in home grown produce with a fertile veggie garden, orchard and berry collection. Tiffany has been a veterinary nurse for 3 years and has worked with both little and important animals in South Gippsland where she grew up and in Melbourne. Tiffany has a notable interest in animal behavior and wishes to exaggerate her knowledge so she can pass this on to our clients. Her ultimate passion is wildlife, and she is currently studying a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Wildlife and Conservation Biology) at Deakin University where she hopes to major in animal behavior and become an Expert Ethologist. She has a soft spot for primates and amphibians, and although she cannot legally own a pet gorilla she does have a pet green tree frog named Ringo, a Pomeranian x Chihuahua called Hindi and a impish cat by the name of Moksha. Sarah loves the outdoors and spends time walking in our surrounding national parks and reserves. She is kept busy looking behind her rescue kitten Westie. April completed a Certificate II in Animal Studies and worked in boarding kennels and catteries prior to pursuing her lifelong dream of busy as a veterinary nurse. She also runs her own pet sitting service April's Animal Ark. April is Mum to three children who also love to assist care for their family of pets. staph is on the brink of becoming a fully capable Veterinary Nurse behind 4 years of examine which have included certificates 2 3 in Animal Studies and a Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing which she is about to complete. staph is a very energetic and glad person who goes above and beyond to assist our clients and patients. Her humane heart and loving nature are displayed in the way she cares for all animals.
